KIRSCH, Esther Belle – Age 88, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Kirsch was born November 1, 1925 in Hale, Michigan the daughter of Charles and Nora Johnson. Esther had worked at Bell Telephone Company and A.C. Spark Plug. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, was a Master of Majhong and playing cards. Surviving are her daughters, Margaret Gilmour, Roberta Wood, Carol Hayes; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Audie (Esther) Johnson, Mark Johnson; sisters, Iina (Howard) Mabry, Dawnette Townsend; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kirsch was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Robert Shew and Harold Kirsch, brother, Charles Johnson, sister, Dorothy Palovich and special friend Kenneth Boyer. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. The Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the funeral home.
