

Glen is survived by his children Sabrina Daisy Dunscombe, Mitchell Dean Dunscombe and Travis Renaldo Dunscombe, mother Mary K (Lee) Dunscombe, sister Angela J. Dunscombe, grandchildren Bennet, Theo, Caleb, and Silas, half-siblings Michelle Dunscombe, Michael Dunscombe and Sean Dunscombe, and his three beloved dogs Jake, Jack and Nick.
Glen was preceded in death by his father Melton Dean Dunscombe, grandparents James Harvey Lee and Gertye Loyce Lee, grandparents Thomas Dunscombe and Marylyn Dunscombe.
Glen was born on September 24, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri to Melton and Mary (Lee) Dunscombe. Glen graduated from Kearsley in 1987. During high school, he sang in the Kearsley choir and an cappella group. In addition, he sang in the choir at Richfield Baptist Church and also played in volleyball and basketball tournaments where he earned trophies. Glen was raised in a Baptist church and became a believer in Christ. Pastor Douglas Moore and wife, Florence, were very involved in Glen's life while growing up. He also started a youth group at his church and was surrounded by such a positive influence there, while his Pastor became his mentor.
In addition to his faith, Glen served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for over twenty years, where he earned innumerable awards accolades and even had his name on some planes. For thirteen years, he was a dedicated instructor in the Air Force and was later employed at the National Aviation Academy. During his life, Glen earned a plethora of Air Force instructor and education awards. Glen was a loving father, son and brother, and his family and friends will forever cherish his memory.
A funeral service with military honors for Glen will be held at the mausoleum at St. John Catholic Cemetery, corner of Richfield and Oak Road, Davison, Michigan, at 1:00 pm with visitation an hour prior.
