ROWAN, GLORIA NILA JEAN age 83, of St. Ignace went Home to be with her LORD and Savior Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at her son’s home with her husband of 61 years at her side. Memorial Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 7, 2017 at the Judson Baptist Church, 4471 E. Atherton Rd., Burton, MI. Pastor Greg Rowan officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the Church. Nila was born August 28, 1934 in Flint, MI to parents Walter and Mildred (Raymond) Schmidt. She was married to Fredrick Erwin Rowan July 28, 1956 and together raised 2 sons Timothy (Sherri) of Lake Ann and Gregory (Kimberly) of Burton. Surviving are husband; 2 Sons; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Pat Lysher Venice, FL and Jerri Marker Bay City, MI; severalnieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson Travis James Rowan. Arrangements by the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI.
