CHAPMAN, Herbert Lee, Sr. – age 82, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Fostrian Manor in Flushing, Michigan. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Burial follows at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Mr. Chapman was born November 11, 1932 in Greensboro, NC. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Chapman has resided in the Flint, Michigan area since 1968. He was retired from General Motors and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Surviving are: children, Herbert Lee (April) Chapman II, Etta “Kathy” Overlay, and Cynthia (Marvin) Johnson; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
