Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Elk Rapids Presbyterian Church and Maple Cemetery to follow in Elk Rapids, MI. Rev. Sandra K. Murray. Irene was born October 4, 1927 in Warren, OH. Surviving are sons David (Betty) Smith, Matthew (Kelley) Smith, Mark (Amy) Smith; granddaughters Kim, Becca, Diana, Jacquie, Rachel, Savannah, Noelle, Skylar; great grandchildren Kadien, Nevaeh, Gage, Zia, Atreyu, and Ivan preceded in death by husband Cecil Smith of 66 years.
