NELSON, Jewel A. (Joe) – of Goodrich, age 93, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Genesys Hospice Care Center. Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2011 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan with burial at Flint Memorial Park. Mr. Nelson was born in Alma, MI on April 20, 1918 the son of the late John and Daisy Nelson. He was a farmer all his life and had a very special bond with his children and grandchildren. Surviving are: children, Jeannine (Bob) Tripp and Gary (Marian) Nelson; 6 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Reatha Nichols; and several nieces and nephews including niece and care giver, Darlene.
