FERRIBY, Joyce Beatrice, age 86, of Grand Blanc, passed away peacefully Monday December 23, 2013 at Genesys Convalescent Center. Private graveside services will be 3:30PM Saturday, December 28, 2013. Hank Messing will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Joyce was born February 18, 1927 in Burton the daughter of the late Richard and Gladys Kinnear. She married Robert Ferriby on September 17, 1949 and he preceded her in death in 1997. Joyce was a loving mother and grandmother and sister who will be missed dearly and remembered forever.
Surviving are her children, Janet Cummings (Tom) of Illinois, Robert Ferriby of Mt. Clemens, Richard Ferriby (Susan) of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Tesha Thomas (Tony), Jennifer Ferriby, Treena Cummings, Shawn Cummings, Richard Ferriby II, Sara Ferriby; great-grandchildren, Elise Thomas, Robert Turpin and Vincent Cummings, also sister, Dorothy Makela of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
