Lawrence William Hackett, age 75, of Lapeer, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. Larry worked at General Motors over 40 years, he loved watching his movies, exercising and staying fit, and loved his daughters and grandchildren more than life itself. He was always in the woods cutting and splitting logs for his wood burner. Larry is survived by his three daughters, Maria Palmer of Imlay City, Bambi (Dewayne) Klaffer of Lapeer, Sonya Kurtz of Florida; seven grandchildren: Garett, Chad, Maria, Coty, Aspen, Christian, Zackery; and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward and mother Veronica Martin. Per Lawrence wishes, cremation has taken and private family services will be held.
