

Lucille June Kauffman, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at the age of 95, Lucille spent her final days at home, family members gathered at her bedside to sing her favorite hymns, pray, and hold her hand as they said goodbye for now. While her absence will be deeply felt, we take comfort in the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:8: "We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord."
A celebration of Lucille's life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Twin Cities Baptist Church, located at 5339 S. Saginaw Rd, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 AM until the service begins at 11:30 AM.
Born on June 15, 1929, in Gaylord, Michigan, Lucille dedicated 18 years of her life to serving as a cashier at Meijer. A woman of deep faith, she found joy in singing songs that celebrated her love for the Lord. Lucille was not only a devoted wife but also a nurturing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Lucille is survived by her beloved husband of 74 years, Louis Kauffman of Swartz Creek, MI. She leaves behind her daughters: Sharon (Richard) Sovey, Karen Jacob, and Cindy (Bob) Parsell. Her legacy also includes seven grandchildren: Melissa (Fred) Baldwin, Erik Sovey, Nathan (Alishia) Parsell, Nathanael (Marie) Jacob, Sarah (Nathan) Volz, Thomas Parsell, and Kyle Sovey, as well as thirteen great-grandchildren: Clarissa Baldwin, Cassandra Baldwin, Ellyck Sovey, Lydia Parsell, Lisa Parsell, Levi Parsell, Lillian Parsell, Lewis Parsell, Savannah Jacob, Dominick Jacob, Ruby Volz, Nathan Volz, and Lyncoln Parsell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will remember her fondly.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, and two sisters, and is survived by one brother who will carry on her memory.
