

A skilled model maker in skilled trades, woodcarver and dedicated carpenter. Mark had a lifelong love of working with his hands. He was a talented cabinet maker and boat builder, taking great pride in crafting things that were both beautiful and built to last. When he wasn't in the workshop, he found peace outdoors, enjoying fishing and hiking and spending time in nature's quiet and simplicity.
Mark is survived by his brother David Lavrack, brother Maurice Lavrack and sister Karen Edwards; daughter Donna (Jerry) Heck, daughter Melissa (John) Montano, son Mark (Amy) Lavrack; grandson James (Tina) Harshfield, granddaughter Trisha (William) Fairfield, grandson Gary (Bo) Sinischo, granddaughter Tara Sinischo, grandson Kyle Lavrack, and grandson Joshua Lavrack; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents Jacob (Jake) Lavrack and Evelyn (Katie) Hartman-Lavrack, sister Jackie Adams, and sister Virginia (Bee) Kovacs.
A funeral visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home, located at 1480 Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan, 48439. The visitation is scheduled for March 26, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
A burial with military honors will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan, 48442. The ceremony will occur on March 27, 2026, at 10:45 am.
Mark Lavrack will be remembered with deep respect and fondness by all who knew him.
