

PERDOMO, Mary (Keinrath) – beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, age 97, died peacefully and went to be with her Lord on January 29, 2012. Her dedication to God and her unselfish love toward others made her a very special lady who was the epitome of a life well-lived. She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Mary was born on June 14, 1914, in Beaverton, MI, the only daughter of Joseph and Magdelena Keinrath. After spending her childhood on the family farm, she attended the Detroit Business Institute and then the Fort Wayne Bible Institute. After graduating from Fort Wayne, she went to the mission field and spent 21 years sharing God’s Word in Colombia, South America. During this time, she adopted twin girls and met her future husband, Jacobo Perdomo. When she returned to the United States years later, Jacobo followed shortly after and they were married on July 15, 1966. After spending some time in Michigan caring for her parents, they moved to Orlando, Florida, and lived there for 30 years. They returned to Michigan in 2007. She is survived by her husband, Jacobo; her two daughters, Mary Cooper and Bernice Lemieux; her seven grandchildren, Russell Cooper, Teresa Weaver, Suzanne Cook, Robert Cooper, Michael Lemieux, James Daniels, and Cynthia Cooper-Severance; and ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Memorial visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI. Burial follows at Crestwood Cemetery.
