Nancy Louise Horvath Richards

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 from Noon to

6:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI.

Nancy was born October 30, 1948 in Flint, Mi. Nancy was a 1966 graduate

of Flint Northern and worked at Citizens Bank while attending University of

Michigan, Flint, where she graduated in 1972 with a degree in secondary

education. She left teaching after a few years to work at AC Spark Plug East.

She was a proud member of UAW Local 651, and retired from GM. Nancy had

a fantastic sense of humor and saw joy in the smallest of things. She enjoyed

music, singing, and gardening. An independent soul, she was fearless,

headstrong, and lived life to the fullest, on her terms. Nancy is survived by

daughter Tara Richards, of Rochester, MI, sister, Beth Kirkpatrick (John) of

Chandler, AZ, brother Kenneth Horvath (Laurie) of Grand Blanc, MI,

nieces Brooke Biltimier, and Erin Offenhauser, and grand nephews, Bryce,

Chad, and Dane Biltimier, and her close friend from grade school through her

entire life, Cheryl (Sorenson) Dorman. She is preceded in death by her

parents, Paul and Geraldine Horvath. In lieu of flowers, donations can be
