Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI. Elder Eric Thomason officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Patricia was born February 12, 1947 in Phoenix, AZ to parents Harry and Maryann (Shears) Baker. She and Donald were married on December 8th, 1978. She was a devoted wife. She loved big and with devotion each of her family members and friends. She was fiercly protective. She loved the image of the guardian angel with arms spread wide protecting the children and she represented that angel to all of the children in her family. She was a guardian or childcare provider for three generations of children in her family throughout their lives. When she was younger she really enjoyed doing art and dancing. As she got older she enjoyed car rides up north, hunting, fishing, camping and just being outdoors. She mainly just loved getting together with family and friends, frequently visiting with aunts and cousins. Another interest she enjoyed was garage sales. She also saved every gift that she was ever given and liked to keep them on display to look at them and remember who gave them to her. Pat was know to have a hearty appetite, in spite of her very small stature. Pat never met a stranger and made new friends many times while on her long walks around her neighborhood. One of the most obvious things about Pat was her love for Jesus Christ. You could not look in any area of her home without seeing a picture of Jesus, a Bible or a picture of an angel. Surviving are sisters Violet “Vickie” Baker, Beth Reynolds; brothers Jesse (Kim) Hodges, Leo( Dona) Baker; nieces and nephews Randi (Todd) Hedrick, Patricia Reynolds, Dan (Anna) Reynolds, Brad (Kim) Reynolds, Michelle (Andy) Franklin; many great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews and special cousins and friends.
