Hubler, Richard - Long-time resident of Grand Blanc, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Dick was born on April 16, 1941. He married Donna Swisher on November 19, 1960. Dick retired from Delphi Automotive in 2003 with 38 years of service. During Dick's lifetime he was a member of the Great Lakes Four Wheel Drive Association, Boy Scouts of America, Grand Blanc Masonic Lodge, and Linden Masonic Lodge. He was honored with the Mason of the Year in 2007. He enjoyed going up north to their cabin and didn't pass up an opportunity for a good nap. Dick enjoyed working in his woodshop and camping with Boy Scouts at Tapico.
Surviving are: his wife of 64 years, Donna; daughter, Irene (Curt) Leadingham; daughter, Penny (Alan) Campbell; brother, Roy (Cindy) Hubler; grandson, Matthew (Murphy) Leadingham; grandson, Anthony (Whitney) Hubler; grandson, Michael (Heather) Leadingham; grandson, Christopher (Samantha) Hubler; 6 great-grandchildren; and best buddy George (dog).
He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Loise Hubler; daughter Cathy Hubler; and brother Art Hubler.
The family will entertain friends and family at: Hill Funeral Home-11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, MI on Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with a Masonic Memorial Service at 6:00 PM. A memorial service will occur Monday, January 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Grand Blanc United Methodist Church - 515 Bush Ave, Grand Blanc, MI with a memorial visitation one hour prior.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grand Blanc United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society or charity of your choice.
