

MEISNER, Robert P. “Bob” – of Flint, age 88, passed away Friday, February 3, 2012 at home in Plymouth. Funeral will be on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 10:00 am at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI. Interment at Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Angela Hospice, 14100 Newburgh Road, Livonia, Michigan 48154. Visitation will be 9:00 am to 10:00 am Tuesday, February 7th. Robert was born on February 11, 1923 in New York. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked for the Buick Motor Division in Flint for 32 years. He was an avid golfer who in his lifetime had three holes-in-one. He was a member of Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta, MI where he enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, and hunting. Surviving are: his brother, Roland Meisner of Flint; nieces and nephews, Bonnie Crawford of Plymouth, Stephen Stuart of Davison, Patrick (Elisa) Stuart of Colorado Springs, CO, Elizabeth Stuart of Plymouth; great nieces and nephew, Jennifer Kocik of South Lyon, Andrea (Brian) Lafferty of Sunnyvale, CA, Aaron (Meagan) Stuart of Colorado Springs, CO; great-great niece and nephew, Eleanor Kocik of South Lyon and Ian Lafferty of Sunnyvale, CA.
