Sarah Louise Wigston

Sarah was a wonderful lady who enjoyed travelling. She also enjoyed dressing up and had a sharp sense for fashion. At New Birth church in Flint, she was a faithful member for over ten years. Sarah was a hard working and loving person who cherished her family. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Sarah leaves behind to cherish her memory her three children Lonzell Thomas, Mateka Hilliard (Mariah) and Beneva Langston; eleven precious grandchildren DeQuinndre Whitfield, Zariah Whitfield, Da'Ron Dukes, Daveon Dukes, Shaikeem Rollins, Shiloh Boyce Kibbie (Mckenna Tiemeyer), Elijah Boyce Kibbie (Maggie Tighe), Calvin Boyce Kibbie, Louise Jacobs, Oasez Beene, and Terrence Beene, Jr.; two great grandchildren Za'Mariaya and Zy'kire; and her dear cousin who was like her sister, Claudeen Cuthpert and sister Theresa Harris of New Birth Church Flint, Michigan.

Sarah is preceded in death by her late husband, Dr. David Wigston; her parents, Ivan Moore and Beneva McClain; her grandson Da'Quarius Thomas; her great granddaughter Da'Riyah Dukes; and a host of cousins and relatives.

A memorial service for Sarah will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, at 12:00pm at New Birth Church - 3918 Blackington Ave., Flint, Michigan.
