

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Tuesday, June 24th, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Those desiring to make a memorial contribution may do so to Fenton Adopt A Pet.
Sharon was born on October 28th, 1944, in Mt Clemens, MI to parents Kenneth and Rose Carruthers. On July 13th, 1968, Sharon married the love of her life, Dan. Their marriage was a testament to love, and partnership and she dedicated her life to her family. They raised three children together. Lisa (Rick) Stiehl-Anderson, Lori (Martin) Stiehl-Matties, Jason (Kristi) Stiehl. Grandchildren, Hailey, Sheridan, Luke and Lincoln, who affectionately called her Nana. She was preceded in death by her husband.
Sharon lived her life through acts of generosity and kindness, Sharon truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her quick wit and strong spirit will be missed.
Sharon was a passionate sports fan especially college football attending many U of M football games, tailgating with her husband, family, and friends. After retiring from General Motors in 2000, she enjoyed traveling, golfing, shopping of any kind and spending many happy summers on Cases Island in Fenton with cookouts, bonfires, sleepovers with the grandkids and visiting with the neighbors.
