Stella Darlene Holt

HOLT, Stella D. – age 74 of Flint, MI, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 5:30 PM at Valley Church of Christ – 4201 Lippincott Blvd. Burton, MI. Stella was born on February 7, 1941 in West Branch, MI to the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Price) Burtch Sr. She attended Valley Church of Christ and loved everyone there. She never knew a stranger and loved to crochet blankets for people. It was her hug to them. She had an amazing sense of humor. If she could leave us with one last remark it would be, “Don’t cry for me. I’m finally in my new body which I desperately needed. Plus I don’t have to wear clothes anymore!” Stella will be missed by her children, Scott Holt, and Rachel (Don) McClure; grandchildren, A’Lisa (Chris) Harvey, Tyler and Lydia McClure; and brother, Kenneth Burtch Jr. Contributions may be made to the family.
