

Hook, William R, 79, passed away peacefully on September 6th in Flint, Michigan. Born to parents Flavis and Margaret (Kozma) Hook on March 19, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1961.
In 1963, William (Bill) began his lifetime career at General Motors, Saginaw Steering Gear Division. He worked for GM for a total of 33 years, he retired as a Foreman in May of 1996. After retirement, Bill enjoyed his favorite pastime of cars, especially the Corvette. Watching sports on television which included Nascar, football, and Detroit Tiger baseball. He was a big Dale Earnhardt fan and enjoyed watching his son and grandson race cars. After his parents passed, he moved to Melbourne, Florida and enjoyed living there until he became ill and moved back to Michigan to be closer to his family.
Bill is survived by his sons: Brent (Dena) Hook and Todd (Jane) Hook; daughter, Tricia (Eric) Guffey; grandchildren: Tori, Chaz, Jack, Kyle, Luke, and Haley; and his dog, Cane. Bill will be laid to rest at Oakwood Mausoleum, 5950 Gratiot Rd., Saginaw, Michigan. Please make any donations to the American Cancer Society.
