As I cruise through the west side of Austin Texas today and several other times I often think of Blake and his son who I have not seen since the 80s and I used to work and roommate with Blake and his son. They were extremely good guys and I was looking him up when I came across this notice, very sad indeed. Oftentimes I thought about trying to find him and have a conversation now it looks like that's not possible and I wish  his 
family and friends condolences.

This definitely falls into the category of better late than never,  but Blake was a very close friend for the year--1970/71--I attended Hobart High School.  My family and I had moved to Hobart while my father was in Viet Nam.  I also recall that Blake's parents were wonderful people. I went off to college and lost track of Blake but the pleasant memories from that year are still with me.

Our prayer are with you during this time of sorrow. Blake was a great friend and he will be greatly missed.
