Alan was born in Colorado to Norman Dee Pennington and Richard M Pennington. Alan was an extremely devoted son to his parents and a loving and loyal husband to his wife, Melanie. Alan was many things, but the core qualities that defined him were kindness, compassion, and loyalty. Those of you who knew Alan were well aware that his passion in life was hunting. He was an amazing archery hunter and did his profession proud. He was able to pursue that passion for over 60 years. His life was taken far too soon, but there is comfort in knowing that he was able to stay true to himself his entire life and is finally at peace. Alan is survived by his loving wife, Melanie Jackson, as well as his father, Richard M. Pennington, and close cousin, Mike Lawson. He will be greatly missed by many.
