It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of
Antonio (Tony) J. Moyano, who left us peacefully surrounded by
his loving family on April 2, 2025, in Grand Junction,
Colorado. He was 70 years old.
Born on April 28, 1954, in Stanton, Texas, Tony lived a full life
dedicated to his family, friends, and passions. He was known for his
kind heart, generosity, and his unwavering commitment to those he loved
Tony is survived by his mother; his sons Christopher (Shelly) Moyano
and Joseph Moyano; his daughter Angela Moyano; and his
grandchildren Joseph Moyano Jr., Natalia Manzanares, Christopher
Moyano, Nicholas Colunga, Khalessi Moyano, and Kimber Moyano.
He is also survived by his siblings Becky (Edward) Ramirez,
Til (Mike) Volz, Oscar Moyano, Lali (Bob) Herrera, Alda
(Roy) Church, Carlos Moyano, Annie (Scott) Lowell, and Hector
Moyano, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins,
all of whom he loved deeply.
Tony’s legacy is one of hard work, humor, and devotion.
His family and friends will forever cherish the memories of his
laughter, his strength, and his enduring love.
A celebration of Tony’s life will take place on Friday, April 11, 2025,
at 12:00 p.m. at Martin Mortuary, 550 North Avenue, Grand Junction,
CO, 81501.
A Party in his honor will follow immediately at the FOE (Eagles)
at 1674 US–50, Grand Junction, CO, 81503.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made
to HopeWest, an organization that supported Tony and his family.
Tony will be deeply missed but forever remembered
in the hearts of those who knew and loved him
