Becker Minnick was a sweet good hearted kind kid that always tried to do the right thing. I went into kindergarten at wingate not knowing a single kid going there. And then I met Becker. We almost immediately became friends and created life long memories through out the years ranging from late night talks at sleepovers to hilarious moments at school. One that really sticks out in my mind was a time that him and I plus a couple other friends slept on the trampoline in his backyard. I was a little hesitant at first cause I figured it would be cold outside, but I was wrong as the weather was perfect for what we were going to do. I remember laying on his trampoline and looking at stars. I will forever love and cherish that memory with one of my best friends. I give out my hopes and prayers to the family. I will forever miss you Becker.

When I moved to Grand Junction in 5th grade, me and Becker hit it off. He was the funniest kid I had ever met and was a core part of the group. Every recess in 5th grade we would walk around the Wingate playground, as he ate his daily orange, and talk. Sometimes it would be about school, or video games, or just life. But by far my favorite memories with Becker is when he would come over to my house to spend the night. We would make silly videos and laugh all night. If he ever couldn’t come to a function it felt boring. He was the life of the party and made everyone laugh. He was a kind and sweet kid and one of my best friends that I have ever had. From meeting in Mrs. Kings class to getting baptized together, I will forever miss Becker and will cherish the memories I have with him.

Dear Becker I known you since 1st grade and we didn’t talk much but I still have a few things to say first off you were a really smart boy . And you were a good friend and made everyone laugh I remember this one time in 7th grade you made everyone laugh in Mrs.Garcias class .I also loved that you always dyed your hair different colors and sometimes you’d do 2 colors I thought it was really cool .And I feel like a lot of people enjoyed your company and you weren’t afraid to speak ur mind. And I think you are the strongest person I ever meant you were really brave and I am proud of you that you kept fighting not a lot of people do that but you did and that takes strength.And I will miss you a lot but I’m thankful your no longer in any pain.And I will be praying for Beckers family.🕊️❤️✝️

Becker, you have been one of my bestest friends since elementary school.  So I have so many memories with you, but my most favorite one is the day we got new assigned seats in fourth grade. From that day, all we did was talk and talk, whether it was about roblox or talking about what color you were going to dye your hair the next week. And when we asked the whole grade if the cookie or the cream was better on an oreo, and it’s obviously the cookie. You have made a forever impact on my life and you have my whole heart. Even if you don’t remember me, i will never ever forget the amazing moments we have had together. thank you for making the sky pretty, i miss you. i love you forever and always, fly high🕊️💗

I love the memory of Becker and Eleanor going to OWL together. She kept texting him to make sure they were in the same group. There were a few things he didn’t do so she sat out with him. They were good buddies and she loved him.

I had so much fun being Becker’s date to bon voyage. I know we had only been friends for 3 years but I’m so blessed I got to know him. He was truly one of my best friends and I will always remember him, and his magnet jimmys. I will always remember the time we had the same flight and we sat together and talked the whole way. Becker! What a year we had! How lucky am I that I got to be your teacher? You will forever be my favorite 8th grader. I didn’t know Becker very well, but I did have some classes with him over the years, and he was always so funny and nice and brought so much energy to the classroom. I have a few friends who were close with him and they loved him so much. He was an amazing kid and i’m so grateful for the times I got to talk to him a little and for being able to help out a little bit with the flight crew this year. God bless your family i’m so sorry for your loss.
