Mrs. Gibbs was a teacher.
Survivors include her husband, James L.; two sons, Steven Menzies of Fruita and Christopher Menzies of Grand Junction; one daughter, Diana Brophy of Grand Junction; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Betty on Sunday, March 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. This will be held in the Chapel at Canyon View Vinyard Church. If you were a friend or a former student of hers please attend and help us celebrate the wonderful life she lived.
