Christian "Chris" Dean Hanneman

Christian "Chris" Dean Hanneman, age 21, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Chris was born on December 31, 1996 to Gib and Yvonne Hanneman in Rifle, CO. He graduated from Yampa High School in 2015. Chris enjoyed dirt biking, camping, boating, and in general being outside enjoying the Colorado sunsets. He loved going to Lake Powell where he made friends from all over the world while working there during the summer of 2016. Chris was a prankster and loved to have fun. His favorite prank was surprising people by blowing his air horn with his friends, Matt, Ryan, and Cameron.

Chris will be greatly missed by his loving parents, Gib and Yvonne; sisters, Ceji Ogg (Chad) of Ft. Lupton, CO and Elizabeth Rangel (Albert) of Grand Junction, CO; nephews, Michael and Jaiden Ogg; niece, Shaelynn Rangel; grandparents, Phyllis and Roger Becker, and the late Virginia and Al Hanneman; late great-grandparents, Gerald and Faye Gene Kindig; aunts and uncles, JoDel and Mitch, Roberta and Steve, Tina and Johnnie, Robert, Christine and Dave, Al, Jr., Lacinda and Billy, and Roger. Chris was preceded in death by his aunt, Tess; grandparents Al, Sr. and Ginny; and cousin, Misty. He is survived by many other cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction, on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Chris' honor to American National Bank, Chris Hanneman Memorial Fund, Acct#2600009351, c/o Amber Hartford or Yvonne Hanneman.
