He is survived by his wife, Betty; two sons, Paul and Matt, both of Grand Junction; three daughters, Penny of Collbran, Suzanne of Grand Junction and Jo of Denver; one brother, Robert of Grand Junction; one sister, Dortha of Grand Junction; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

July 13, 1933 - January 27, 2014

Donald Anderegg, son of Leonard and Nellie Anderegg, was born July 13, 1933, in Grand Junction, CO. He passed away January 27, 2014, at Mesa Manor Nursing Home.

He married Betty J. Currey on October 10, 1961. They had five children together. He and Betty owned Old World Meat Company with Don's brother, Bob and his wife, Marge, for 30 years before retiring in 1997.

Don was an avid Bronco's fan and was so excited they made it to the Super Bowl this year. He loved fishing and feeding his many birds at their home. There was nothing more important to him than his family.

Don is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty; sons, Paul Fullmer, and Matt (Cyndi) Anderegg; daughters, Penny (Ross) Maigatter; Jo (Jay) Geiss, and Sue (Rick) Nehm; brother, Robert (Marge) Anderegg; sister, Dortha Page, 11 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.

Per Don's request there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to HopeWest 3090B N.12th St. Grand Junction, CO, 81501.

The family would like to especially thank the staff of HopeWest for making this time easier for us.

Don was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
