I have many fond memories of Don. He had a great sense of humor. I recall one day after the house in Cordova was remodeled and the new carpet had been laid. Lou had asked me to vacuum the carpet everyday when I came home from work for lunch. Don was several of those days and asked me if I didn't think maybe since it was a new carpet that it might be clean and not need daily vacuuming. He loved to watch Sandford and Son while laying on the couch and would almost always fall asleep. Of course these were on the days when he wasn't out fishing. He also wouldn't fish during a fishing strike like lots of other guys would. He was a proud man and a very hard worker. He loved his family, each one of us. Love you Don.

Dear Mom and family, I was sorry to hear that Pop passed. I wish I could be there. I'm glad that I had a chance to talk to him last week. He was a man that lived and left life on his own terms, just like he taught us. Love you, Jimbo

Dear Grandma Lou, The last few weeks I have been reminiscing over the times we shared together. I remember washing Grandpa's laundry for an entire summer and he paid me with a brand new fishing pole. And the summer TimAyn and I spent in Oregon with you guys and he paid us to rub his feet. Grandpa was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. Sending all my love your way!
