Florence Mueller

Services will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Frank D.; two sons, Gary D. and Robert J.; one daughter, Kathy Lenhart; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Florence Mueller

March 19, 1932 - January 10, 2015

Florence Mueller passed away on January 10, 2015. She was 82 years old.

She was born March 19, 1932, in Montrose, CO to Ruby Unrein Schurr and Paul Unrein.

She had two sisters, Lorene and Betty. She spent her childhood in Montrose and the family later moved to Grand Junction.

After graduation from Grand Junction High School, Florence moved to Colorado Springs to go to business college and there she met the love of her life, Frank. They were married on February 3, 1951. They would have been married 64 years this year. Together they had three children, Gary (Yong Sun), Robert (Sandy), and Kathy (Ed) Lenhart; six grandchildren, Lana Dana, Clint, Melanie, Ellie and Stephanie; nine great-grandchildren, Rylan, Kyra, Hadley, Maddison, Soffie, Mia, Samuel, Anna and Emily.

Frank and Flo also worked together. They built their business, Muellers Auto Service and worked there until their retirement in 2000. Their son, Bob and daughter-in-law Sandy then took it over.

Florence was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby; father, Paul; step-father, Murl; and sister, Lorene.

Visitation is 6 - 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14th, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary with Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Thursday, January 15th at 10:00 a.m.
