Floyd Keene McCullough Sr., passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, he was 65.
Floyd was born on March 23, 1948 in Grand Junction, Colorado from the union of Leo and Maxine McCullough. He grew up and attended school in Grand Junction and was a lifelong resident.
On January 1, 1996, Floyd married Alice Stahl in Mack, Colorado, she survives.
Floyd was a United States Army Veteran and member of the DAV. He was a country western musician and truck driver. He enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, traveling and fishing on the Grand Mesa.
Floyd leaves behind his wife Alice of Grand Junction, two sons; David Downey of Grand Junction, Floyd Keene McCullough Jr. of Salem , OR., four daughters; Donna Corkle of Carthage, MO, Debra Downey of Palm Beach, Florida, Lori Williams of Michigan and Tiffany Desersa of Casper, WY. Other survivors include Floyd’s mother; Donna Maxine McCullough of Quartzsite, AZ, four sisters; Dana McCullough of Grand Junction, CO, Norma Jean Rhines of Quartzsite, AZ, Leo Dale Manuel of La Grande, OR, Pam Miracle of Quartzsite, AZ, fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Floyd was preceded in death by his father and a son; Matt McCullough.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 21, 2013 at Bethel Assembly of God Church. Committal services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 21, 2013 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation time will be held from 2-4:00 PM, Sunday, October 20, 2013 at Martin Mortuary.
