Ford was born to John and Leia (Wilson) Berg on June 7, 1923 in Fruita, Colorado. In addition to being an Army Veteran, Ford was a heavy industry Senior diesel mechanic who was known for his innovations and wonderful common sense. He has several inventions with patents pending.
Ford is survived by his two sons; Jimmy Berg of Seattle, Washington, and Steven Berg of Grand Junction, Colorado, and his daughter Joyce Burritt of Grand Junction, Colorado. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. No public services are planned at this time.
