

Georgia was born on April 8, 1948 to Admiral Dewey Scroggins and Iza Marie Scroggins (nee’ Halls).
A native born of Grand Junction, Colorado, Kay spent her entire life in the area and loved it dearly. She wed her lifelong partner, Kenneth Lee Summers, on December 23, 1970 in Moab, Utah.
Other than working as a bookkeeper for K&D, Kay was a homemaker and a very committed hobbyist. She enjoyed and practiced many crafts such as sewing, crocheting, working with ceramics, gardening and baking treats that her family thoroughly enjoyed.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 48 years, Kenneth Lee Summers; son, Steve (Robyn) Summers; daughter, Teri Summers; grandchildren, Anthony Summers, Hailee Summers, Chad Smith, Remington Summers, Rabekka Garcia, Richard Garcia and Raeonna Garcia; sister-in-law, Dorothy Kinyon; nephew, Jimmy Kinyon; and cousin, Jackie(Tex) Rehrig.
Georgia was preceded in death by both parents.
