Guy was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children, Kellen (Katy), and Nichole (Eric); his twelve beloved grandchildren, Alexia, Chaz, Ryan, Harper, Zachary, Hannah, Junior, Jack, Brooklyn, Kara, Maddox, and Peyton; his great-grandchild, Blake; and six siblings, Dwight (Teresa), Patricia (Galvin), Don, Mark (Connie), Diane, Laura (Dan); and countless extended family members and friends who were touched by his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Virble Fowler; his sister, Dawn; his son, Cody; and his daughter, Kimberley.
Guy spent his career as a paint contractor and took great pride in owning and operating his business, High Desert Painting. He was known for his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and commitment to doing things the right way.
Outside of work, Guy found joy in the outdoors. He loved hunting, camping, fishing, and exploring the wilderness—often behind the wheel of his side-by-side. He was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to Colorado sports teams. He loved country western artifacts, antiques, music, and the country lifestyle.
Above all, Guy’s deep Christian faith was a guiding force in his life. It shaped the way he lived, the way he loved, and the way he connected with others.
Guy will be remembered for his strength, his devotion to family, and the many memories he created with those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A service to honor and celebrate Guy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Martin’s Mortuary. All are welcome to attend.
