She graduated from Ritenour Senior High School and went on to receive her LPN from the St. Louis Board of Education and her RN from Mesa State College. She had a long and varied nursing career which touched the hearts of many. In addition to nursing, she was a certified massage therapist, reiki master, healing touch practitioner and produced two CD's of guided mediation on the art of self-healing.
