Harry C. WelbornFebruary 12, 1945 - December 5, 2015Harry C. Welborn, 70, of Grand Junction passed away peacefully at his home with his step-daughters by his side. He lost his battle with COPD and emphysema. His wife, Nina Mae Welborn preceded him in death. As did his brother, Ronald Welborn. He was born to Harry B and Glenniva Mary (O'Dell) Welborn of Crawford, CO.He had three daughters with his first wife, Lorraine Medina (Allison); Patricia Welborn, Lynn (Lonnie) Britton and Lisa Gallegos.He gained three daughters when he married Nina in 1994. Shanon (Craig) Clinkenbeard, Shaun (Tracy) Leach and Sharon (Steve) Hulsey; and Nina's step-children, Sandra (Tim) Dudley, Dan Weybright, Joe (Jami) Weybright. We will be forever grateful for his love, adoration and dedication to our mother.He has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He and his step-son-in-law Eldon "Craig" Clinkenbeard became especially close. They teamed together for several years hauling cars across all 48 states.He was a truck driver and retired from Gibson RV as an RV tech. He attended school in Crawford, CO and graduated from high school in AZ. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He was well loved for his straight forwardness, gruffness and his ornery sense of humor. Mr. Welborn was a truck driver and RV technician.

He is survived by one son, Eldon “Craig” Clinkenbeard of Colorado; six daughters, Patricia Welborn, Lynn Britton, Lisa Gallegos, Shanon Clinkenbeard, Shaun Leach and Sharon Hulsey, all of Colorado; many grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
