He is survived by one sister, Tiffane Follett, and his parents, Jerry and Shirley Follett.

James Follett of Grand Junction left this earth to be with his heavenly father Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the age of 46.
A longtime community member, James graduated from Central High School and was a beloved employee of City Market for 24 years. James held a variety of positions over the years and worked as a union steward and served as a Union Representative for the Western Colorado Region. James had an indelible passion to give. He showed that by always being a friendly face or a shoulder to lean on to his devoted customers, all those he worked with, and those that were just lucky to know him. James will be remembered for his unlimited hugs by all those he loved and worked with, lived beside and served. His compassion and desire to serve people led him to also volunteer with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department for a number of years.
James’ adventurous spirit took him on a number of travels across the country and throughout the world, including China, Ireland, Italy, Greece, and Australia, as well as many more. He was a gentle soul, dedicated and loyal not only to his family and friends, but also to his faithful dogs, Wynndam and Sydney.
James is survived by his mother, Shirley Follett of Grand Junction; Father Gerald of Grand Junction; sister Tiffane’ of Blackhawk, Colorado; Grandmothers, Bonnie Blom of Laramie, Wyoming and Betty Follett of Grand Junction; Godchildren, Aidan & Ariana; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; Extended Family, Alice Peters, the Borchers Family, Tammy Eret, Logan Triplett, Char Sidanycz, the Crim Family and countless loving friends.
Services will be at Callahan Edfast Mortuary on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service at the Double Tree Hotel at 743 Horizon Drive.
