James "Jim" Marvin Jensen

James (Jim) was born on January 15, 1931 in Lincoln, Nebraska. He served in the Korean War, he was awarded a Purple Heart, and was honorably discharged after serving his country. Jim used his GI Bill to earn a Degree in Electrical Engineering. He married Mary Ann Greiner on September 14, 1954 in Omaha, NE and they celebrated more than 60 years of marriage together. He retired from AT&T at age 62 to enjoy traveling, and time with family and friends. Jim was a very devoted husband and father.

James (Jim) is survived by three daughters, Debbie Rutherford (Monty) of Mack CO, Cathy Wyant (Bill) of Mancos, CO, Peggy Abdow (Donny) of Longmont CO, and 4 sons, Gary Jensen (Kayle) of Laramie, WY, Jerry Jensen (Denise) of Longmont CO, Larry Jensen (Debbie) Sterling, CO, Chris Jensen (Shannon) of Longmont, CO. Sixteen grandchildren, (Michelle, Jamie, Jackie, Shanna, Lisa, Aaron, Melissa, Jeannine, Jessica, Jeremiah, Jesse, Jeremy, Jordan, Julia, Brooke, and Payton) and twenty-five great-grandchildren (Austin, Shelby, Jacob, Jennifer, Gracelyn, Dawson, Haley, Reid, Katelyn, Carter, Caden, Adam, Liam, Mason, Kaleb, Kyran, Khrys, Sierrah, Cody, Ava, Dylan, Brayden, Janessa, Jasaleen, Jonathan. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Ann and his daughter Patty Lou.
