Jamie Michelle Babish

Jamie Michelle Babish, age 39, died peacefully on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Grand Junction, Colorado, after a long struggle with cancer. Jamie was born in Denver, Colorado, the daughter of Lynn Babish-Kammerer and Kevin Babish. Jamie thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her daughter Jazmyne. Jamie and Jazmyne would draw and read together on a daily basis. Jamie attended Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona, where she studied computer science. Jamie’s love of drawing also earned her an apprentice spot at a tattoo shop in Tucson, Arizona. Jamie’s love for others is the reason she got into the caregiving career path, she was always caring and making others feel happy and loved. Family and friends were Jamie’s passion and delight. She grew up spending quality time with her brother Jeremiah. Jamie is survived by her mother, Lynn Babish-Kammerer; her father, Kevin Babish; brother, Jeremiah Babish; numerous relatives and friends; and most importantly, her daughter, Jazmyne. Jamie wished to be cremated. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness.
