

John Henry Frick December 25, 1925 – January 6, 2012 John Henry Frick passed away January 6, 2012, at his Grand Junction home, he was 86. John was born on December 25, 1925, in Denver, CO to Fred and Gladys (Enoch) Frick. He served in the United States Navy during World War II from 1943 through the duration in the South Pacific. He enjoyed Navy reunions with his shipmates of the USS PC 1120 for the past 12 years. After completing Barber College in 1955, John worked as a barber for 42 years and was the former owner of Aaron's Barber Shop on North Avenue for 21 years, retiring in 1997. John is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marge Frick; daughters, Jan (Albert) Nelson, Jill Schutt and Margie Frick; a son, John (Laurie) Frick; brothers, Bill (Norma) Frick, Paul Frick and Claude (Dixie) Frick; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Parkway, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
