So saddened by John's tragic loss.  He was a relative, buddy and friend always.  He gave as good as he got, his friendship, advice, help, and mostly his opinion, whether solicited or not.  We relished in one another's company, either over a tailgate, a fire pit, or a backyard patio.  I'll always appreciate those lessons he tried to teach me, such as the difference between a chuckar and swallow in Gerlach.  The other lessons he tried to impart I didn't listen to or I forgot immediately lost in the laughter of the moment.  I'm glad that I taught him of Negro Modelo and Mexican food.  Love to my family and to Laura and her children during our collective time of loss.  Rest in God's hands, John.

 My condolences goes out to the family. I was so looking forward to that talk we were going to have. So I guess that from this, you taught meet not to put off anything. Get'r done!
