Sure did miss hearing your voice this Thanksgiving...just being able to talk to you and laugh with you about all the silly and ridiciolous stuff we used to talk about and handing the phone from one person to the next around the table. Sorry I haven't been here in awhile, there's been so much stuff going on around here always something difficult, bout drives me crazy, we slept in a little bit too much today I wanted to get up early today were gonna go fishin at one of our favorite spots up at Vega lake out on the dock, your probably already there waiting for us:) I dont know yet for sure I might just take the kids to the duck pond over at the D.O.W. i'm trying to figure out the ride situation , the vans still broke down with expired plates and the Durango has never been real good on the interstate ever since the wreck, hasn't ever been the same. space is hard because we have Angel and her wheelchair to take with us too. There has been all kinds of stuff going on in the last few months , few years , I can hardly stand it at times , wish I could just run up to the hills and get away=) I don't want to stress you with all the crap going on right now, its your Birthday Dad I miss you so much dad I have and will everyday I try and be strong in this life but it sure has taken a tole on me. I'm still truckin along though tryin to get things done, everyday I try. Still have a bunch to do up at your place too, Its been real hard to get things done , I really don't have anyone that can help with some of those things , some real heavy stuff still, It will get done though Dad. Jennifer came to be here for your birthday too, that's awesome , She was a big help last time she was here helped get your truck moved down to the house, So that's the plan again when we get a minute were going up to your place and get some more done.. Brandie made a surprise visit today w/a big beautiful bouquet of flowers and a Happy Birthday balloon for you and a beautiful smile. We went to the lake wrote amessage from both od us on the baloon realeased it for you and droppes some white stargazer lillys and deep purple snapdragons in the water in your memory as a special Brother,Uncle Dad and Son...of corse it has been pouring rain here for at least a week off and on and we were totally soaked by the time we were done... it was SO awesome!! I know you we laughing and smiling at us sillys girls!! I hope it is a special peace fuland comforting day for you,maybe you abd dad went fishing huh? that would be cool! What a wonderful video - thank you for sharing this.  I am your Dad's cousin, Christy.  My mom (Alta) was your grandma's (Barbara) youngest sister.   Unfortunately I hadn't seen your Dad in years.  When we were kids, we always hung out at family gatherings because we were so close in age.  There was Randy, Joyce, John and myself in that age group, and I always remembered him as a shy and quiet kid, with a big heart and gentle spirit. It sounds like he was dearly loved by his family, and in the end, no man could ever ask for more. Hopefully one day, we'll be able to meet in person.  Until then, I'll get updates from your Grandma and Sara about how you're all doing.  Losing a parent is really tough and my sympathies go out to all of you.  I will remember him always....

I knew John for many years he was a great person.  He was always there to help my family.  John, Clint and I fixed more Cavaliers than I can even count, and if we need help moving cows he was always there.  I will miss talking to him and seeing him on the road.

Our deepest sympathy to John's family for your loss.  We were John's neighbor's on Purdy Mesa for many years. Even after we moved away, he never once missed sending us a Christmas card.  John was such a kind man and we were blessed to have known him as our friend.

John is one of the best friends anyone could ever have. We are so thankful for the time we had with him and we will never forget. John was a friend of our family through 4 generations. He was a great friend to my grandmother, my mother, my husband and I and our 2 kids. When my mother was sick and could no longer do so many of the things she had done before, John was there to help and to keep her life interesting. He gave his time to help her by writing out her checks so she could sign them for her bills. John's handwriting was beautiful, as was he. He had a sixth sense. If any of us were feeling down, John's hugs were just the ticket to make the world seem not so bleak and he always somehow knew when to stop by and share one. No one could give a hug like John. He was a loyal, honest friend and he will be in out hearts and thoughts forever. Prayers and thought to John's family. We will really miss him.
