Joseph J Vlach, age 74, at rest on March 1st, 2025. Originally from Berwyn (Chicagoland) Illinois. Joe moved to the Western Slopes (Collbran/Molina area and now Grand Junction) 13 years ago. Loving and devoted husband to Laura. Dear brother of Frank (Vern), Dorothy (John), Anne (late) and Rose (late).
Brother-in-law to Michael (Leslie), Richard (Carol), Julie and Andrea (Anthony). Fond Uncle and Great Uncle to many. Also missing him and looking for him are his two rescue cats Bugsy and Buttercup. In past his beloved other cats Kennedy, Squirt and Spanky.
Joe was a retired license CPA and last worked in finance for the Town of Palisade.
Pray services and visitation for Joseph will take place on March 13th, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 11:30am, Mass will begin at 12:00pm followed by the reception at the church Immaculate Heart of Mary, located at 790 26 1/2 Road, Grand Junction, Colorado. Interment will be held in Illinois at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donate in Joe's name to: ASPCA, Roice Hurst Grand Junction Saint Jude.
