Born on February 10, 2005 Josiah spent his life surrounded by the natural beauty of his hometown and the warmth of a large and loving family. He graduated from Job Corps in 2024, a milestone that reflected his determination and aspirations for a bright future.
Josiah was a loving son to his father Jonathan Rosales—stepmother Leslye Rosales, and loving mother Breanna Trujillo—stepfather Martin Salazar. He was a cherished grandson to Susana Rosales and Melicia Lane. His life was filled by the presence of numerous siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins who shared in his joys and supported him through life’s journey.
From an early age, Josiah found joy in sports—especially football. An Atlanta Falcons fan, he not only loved watching games but also playing on the field himself. His passion for football was matched by his love for video games and outdoor adventures. Fishing, hikes and camping trips with family and friends were among his favorite pastimes. Nature brought him peace, but it was time spent with loved ones that truly filled his heart.
Family meant everything to Josiah. He treasured every moment shared with them. His bond with his cousin Victor was especially profound; they were inseparable from childhood onward. More than best friends, they were brothers in spirit—the perfect representation of what it means to be true cousins. May their spirits fly high together as they lived in life.
Josiah's presence radiated kindness and strength. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Those who knew him remember him as aspiring and strong—a young man whose heart was as big as his smile. He touched countless lives with his warmth and generosity.
He is mourned deeply by all who knew him and remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched. Josiah joins one beloved uncle who preceded him in death.
The family extends heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and prayers during this difficult time. They continue to heal together, united by memories of Josiah’s vibrant spirit.
May Josiah Michael Rosales be remembered always for the love he gave so freely and fiercely and the joy he brought into so many lives. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
