Joyce Ann Koch

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon; one son, Dan Morrell of Grand Island, Nebraska; three daughters, Jennie Eggerling of Loveland, Melanie Sock of Mead, and Linda Renee Winchell of Grand Junction; three brothers, Ira and James Copley, both of Sidney, Nebraska, and Randy Copley of Kearney, Nebraska; one sister, Marilyn Maginnis of Grand Island; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Joyce Ann Koch, 73, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away July 16 at Hope West. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 21, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Viewing and rosary will be held at the Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Wednesday, July 20, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Joyce was born on September 13, 1942, in Kimball, Nebraska, to Ina Marie (Bourret) Garrard and Robert Hunter Garrard. Survivors include husband, Gordon Koch of Grand Junction; four children, Dan (Sheila) Morrell of Grand Island, NE, Linda Renee Winchell of Grant Junction, CO, Melanie (Eric) Sock of Mead, CO, and Jennie (Phil) Eggerling of Loveland, CO; nine grandchildren, Emily, Hanna, Katelyn, Hayden, Josh, Bob, Seth, Abby, and Ali; six great-grandchildren; brothers, James Copley and Ira Copley of Sidney, NE, and Randy Copley of Kearney, NE; and sister, Marilyn Maginnis of Grand Island, NE.

Joyce was the glue that her “Yours, Mine, and Ours” family together. She supported her husband in his career, as well as being a Beautician, Great Sales Lady, Respiratory Therapy Technician, College Bookstore Manager, Housewife, and Mother. She was loved by everyone who ever met her and kept us all in line with her strict belief in honesty.

She will be missed beyond words.
