She was an interior decorator.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Richard Kessler of Fruita; daughters, Vicki Meyers of Citrus Heights, California, and Kari (Pete) Colombo of Fruita; brother, Charles Strom of Shingle Springs, California; sister, Jean Smith of California; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Lyla (Knudson) Kniser; and her husband, Richard James McGuire.
