Kyle Mark Lambert of Grand Junction, CO, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, at the age of 34.
Kyle was born to Mark and Teresa Lambert in Bellflower, CA, on November 11, 1990. He was the youngest of three and the only son. When Kyle was 10 months old, the family moved back to their native state of Colorado, settling in Grand Junction, where he spent most of his life.
The outdoors was a big part of Kyle’s life. From a young age, he enjoyed backpacking, hunting, fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding, and seeking new adventures in the mountains with his dad. His patience for fishing was remarkable—even as a child, he would sit for hours fishing in the street gutter, holding out hope that a striped bass would come by.
Kyle had a goofy personality and was the loudest person you ever met—always making people laugh with his movie line impressions, booming laugh, and contagious smile. He was truly the life of the party and had the most fearless spirit. He lived life with a boldness that some might consider reckless, but to Kyle, this was living! If you were looking for fun, Kyle was your guy, always saying, “I’m down” and “I got chu.” There are too many stories to count, but he was often the one lying on the ground while his friends tried to clear him on their bikes and skateboards. Needless to say, this didn’t always go well—but, of course, that never held him back. He’d get scolded, injured, and then move on to the next wild plan he had.
Kyle was passionate about fitness, and his dedication to strength training was impressive. He was always setting new goals and could outwork anyone—whether in the gym or professionally. Kyle was also incredibly resourceful and entrepreneurial. He was skilled in many areas of construction, and he was constantly coming up with creative ways to make money, even from a young age. If he was told to provide a neighbor with beans from the garden, Kyle saw an opportunity—he would hand over the beans and then ask for $2.
Above all, Kyle had the biggest heart and loved deeply. His family and friends meant everything to him. He will be missed dearly by all that knew him, but his legacy, adventurous spirit, and cherished memories will live on.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Teresa Lambert; his sisters, Heather (Alex) Dann and Erika (James) Neeley; three nieces, Allyson, Annika, and Scarlett; two nephews, Trenton and Nolan; along with uncles, aunts, cousins, and dear friends.
A celebration of life followed by reception for Kyle will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary & Crematory, 2515 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, Colorado 81505.
