Survivors include his parents, Darrell and Shelley Baker of Grand Junction; one brother, Cole Baker of Grand Junction; three sisters, Amy Fejeran of Mandan, North Dakota, Kristina Baker of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Zhanna Baker of Phoenix; and two grandmothers, Mary Hilgenfeld of Grand Junction and Johnnie Williams of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Lucas David Baker, 28, passed away on February 20, 2016, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Junction, CO. He was born September 23, 1987, in Grand Junction to Darrell and Cindy Baker.
Luke graduated from Fruita High School and attended Mesa State College. He served in the Navy and was part of their nuclear program. He worked as a roughneck and construction hand. His interests include snowboarding, wake boarding, and cliff jumping.
Luke is survived by his parents, Darrell and Shelley Baker of Grand Junction; brother, Cole Baker of Grand Junction; sisters, Amy Fejeran of Mandan, ND, Kristina Baker of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Zhanna Baker, Phoenix, AZ; grandmothers, Mary Hilgenfeld of Grand Junction, and Johnnie Williams of Tulsa; OK; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Cindy; grandmother, Lucille Bowling; and grandfather, Renshaw Hamilton.
A celebration of his life will be at 10:00 a.m. on March 3, 2016, at Faith Heights Church, 600 28 ¼ Road, Grand Junction, CO 81506.
