

Luke, born October 26, 1990, is the son of Mark Holmes and Darlene Jordan Holmes. Luke attended Wingate Elementary, Redlands Middle School, and graduated from Fruita Monument High School in the class of 2009. He then went on to Colorado Mesa University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. He was currently working in banking.
Luke lived life to its fullest in his short 26 years—a life full of love, laughter, adventure, passions, and so much more.
Luke is survived by his pride and joy, 2-year-old son, Trace Logan Holmes; Trace’s mother, Catlyn Coughran; his mother, Darlene Jordan Holmes; father, Mark; two brothers, Noah Jordan (Meg) of Windsor, CO and Ryan Jordan (Amy) of Grand Junction; nieces, Kyla Jordan and Rylee Jordan; his partner, Kyra Earle; and paternal grandparents, Bill and Jan Holmes of Grand Junction.
A Celebration of Luke’s life will be held Saturday, April 1, 11:00 a.m. at Canyon View Vineyard Church, 736 24 ½ Road, Grand Junction, Colorado, where Luke attended, with Pastors Kirk Yamaguchi and Glenn Brown officiating. Following the service, guests are invited to attend a reception at the Church. During this time stories and memories of Luke will be welcomed and appreciated.
