Lynn was born February 6, 1951 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He graduated from Central High School in 1969 and began his college education at Mesa State in Grand Junction, but enlisted in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged after serving his country for nine years in a reserve unit.
Lynn retired three years ago from the automotive services industry and had been enjoying his hobbies and family. His favorite thing to do was to walk around the neighborhood with his beloved dog Brickey. He was a fixture in the neighborhood, with all of them telling us about his smile and friendly nature. Lynn also loved spending time with his children and grandchildren in the cabins, hunting and shooting trap, and visiting California. He even enjoyed his trips to Mexico, and would participate in all of the outdoor activities his family could do.
Lynn loved all things community and was proud to be a member of the Mason’s and Shriner’s.
He loved old cars, and especially enjoyed cruising around with his soulmate, especially in the 1962 Corvette. His 1946 Ford is currently being restored by his baby daughter Shelby.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Carolann Robison of Grand Junction; his children: Robbie Stone (deceased), Shelby Robison, Sherry Rickenbach, and Rodney Rickenbach. Lynn has four grandchildren that he loved immeasurably. Darian Wilkins, Tyren Castonguay, Presley Castonguay and Rocklyn Little were the highlight of his days and served as the best example of a grandpa that exists. Lynn is also survived by siblings Gary Robison, Caleen Street, Laura Bishop, and Sherm Robison Jr., brother and sister in law Connie and Frank Orzanco, Ronnie Brickey (deceased) and seventeen nieces and nephews. He has family not mentioned here, as Lynn lived a legacy of finding and adding blood and non-blood relatives to his family tree. He loved and will continue to live through each and every one of us.
Lynn was preceded in death by his son, Robbie Stone, his father, Sherman Robison; his mother, Lola Robison; his brother Calvin Skidmore
Funeral services will be held at the Masonic Lodge at 2:00 pm on March 25, 2022.
