Megan Marie Miller, age 22, of Whitewater passed away on October 21st, 2014.
Megan was born on December 21, 1991, to Daniel and Lucinda ""Cindy"" Miller, who survive in Whitewater, CO.
She leaves behind her sister, Ashley Miller (Jamie) Woodmansee, Fruita, CO; brother, Zachary (Sacora) Miller, Atwood, KS; nephews, Ryan Woodmansee and Liam Woodmansee; grandparents, Sharon and Bill Clark of Lima, Ohio; Don and Kathy Miller of Lima, OH, and Ruth Cox of Bakersfield, CA. Megan had four uncles; four aunts; six first cousins, and two second cousins. She was preceded in death by her beloved nephew, Ley.
Megan loved her family, her favorite dog ""Meatwad"" (who misses her terribly), and especially loved working with children at the 8th Street Gym in Grand Junction, CO. Megan loved Colorado, snowboarding, dirt biking, fishing, camping, and hiking. A cold jump in the local ""potholes"" was a favorite too. She was an avid soccer enthusiast from four years of age until high school. She loved playing the saxophone in middle and high school.
She graduated high school in the accelerated honors program. Megan graduated Cum Laude this past summer from Colorado Mesa University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and a minor in Biology and was planning to attend graduate school to become a pharmacist. Megan had an unusual hobby that involved MMA fighting in an octagon ring. We called her the ""Dueling Doctor"". She trained hard and worked hard at everything she did.
For all of her honors, for all of her accomplishments, for all that Megan was working to become, it is what Megan already was that made her special. Her amazingly sharp wit, her one of a kind smile, her world famous ""Meganism"" sayings that everyone loved to repeat, Megan's personality made her everybody's friend. From a very early age Megan could light up a room, and for too brief of a time, we all got to bask in the glow.
Rev. 21:4 And he will wipe out every tear from the eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
John 5: 28 Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice - and come out...
