Otis Dale Harris

The arms of the Lord welcomed him home on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at his home.

OD married Madonna Lynn Clymer on April 2, 1954 in Salida, Colorado. He was a member of the US Army during the Korean War, and a man of different trades, but his favorite was being a horse trader.

OD and Madonna have two sons Mitchell (Kathy ) Harris and Kelly Harris; grandsons Zane, Joshua (Shauna),Daniel (Sophia), Levi (Deanna); great grandsons, Noah, Elijah and Judah.

No services are planned at OD’s request. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at the Western Colorado Veterans Cemetery.

The family would like to thank OD’s caregivers who include Nightingales Home Care Center, Janet, Crystal, Rhea, Karen and others; also the PA’s and nurses from the Veterans Hospital, and nurses from Hopewest Hospice, Kristen, Mary, Judy and others.
